Dr. Jim Lu, DDS graduated from Emory University in 2009 with a BA in Biology. He completed dental school at the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Dentistry in 2015 with a Degree in Dental Surgery. While in dental school, he completed a 1 year Oral Surgery Clerkship and participated in numerous community outreach and volunteer events to provide dental care, education and oral cancer screening for underserved communities in Maryland.
After dental school, he completed a 1 year General Practice Residency at Westchester Medical Center in New York where he received advanced training in prosthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and the management of medically compromised patients. He continues to take hundreds of hours of continuing dental education annually to keep up with advances in dentistry and to provide the highest quality dental care.
Dr. Jim Lu is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
When not in the office, he enjoys volunteering, hiking, playing basketball, traveling and photography.
